Cyclones feature depth at runningback

After rushing for more than 12-hundred yards last season, Iowa State running back Ennis Haywood is looking to put up impressive numbers in his final campaign. But Haywood knows he will need to produce to see playing time. The tailback spot may feature the most depth on the squad with Michael Wagner and JaMaine Billups waiting for their chance. Haywood says that’s all part of playing football and it will make all backs better.Haywood believes the Cyclones offense will be as balanced as it was last year.Haywood says while there will be some new faces on offense the success of last season is a plus. He says they go into the season with the confidence that they can win games.Iowa State opens at home September eighth against U-N-I.
