The Buena Vista football program has become the model of consistency over the past few years but now coach Steve Osterberger says the next step is to make a run at the Iowa Conference title. The Beavers return 16-starters from last year’s team that finished 7-3.Osterberger says to make the next step the Beavers will need to finish the close games, something they were unable to do a year ago.B-V led the Conference in defense against the run last year and Osterberger is looking for similar success this season.B-V opens on September first at Southwest State of Minnesota.
