The Iowa State Cyclones open their season at home against Northern Iowa Saturday. The Cyclones are heavily favored, but coach Dan McCarney knows the Panthers will be highly motivated.The game will be the first for junior college transfer Seneca Wallace who takes over for Sage Rosenfels at quarterback. He says Wallace has to do what he’s already done in practice to be successful.McCarney says despite a number of new players, especially on defense, the Cyclones are ready for the season. U-N-I coach Mark Farley knows what his team is up against and says they’re going to take on the challenge.
