ISU-Iowa game will go on

The 49th meeting of Iowa State and Iowa is still on. the announcement came just hours after the commissioners of the Big-12 and Big-ten conferences gave member schools the green light to play this weekend. In a statement, Iowa athletic director Bob Bowlsby said should the President designate a national period of mourning that includes Saturday, the game could still be cancelled.Northern Iowa plans on playing this weekend’s football game at Stephen F. Austin. the panthers have scheduled a charter flight out of waterloo on the morning of the game and will fly as long as sir traveled is allowed. The Drake football will not travel to Charlotte, North Carolina for Saturday’s game against Davidson University. Officials say they’re concerned about being able to get a flight to and from the game.
