There’s one change among RI’s top rated football teams

There is one new top ranked team in the latest Radio Iowa high school football poll. Defending State Champion Adair-Casey moves to the top of the eight-man survey after previously top ranked Elk Horn Kimballton lost to east Greene last Monday. Sentral of Fenton is second, then its Aurelia, Seymour and East Greene. The rest of the top ranked teams remain the same. Hubbard-Radcliffe is top ranked in class A, manning is second followed by West Bend Mallard, IKM and Northwood Kensett. Southern Cal leads 1A, Aplington Parkersburg is second followed by Columbus, West Lyon and Council Bluffs St. Albert. In 2A, Dike New Hartford is top ranked. Sigourney Keota is second and rounding out the top five its mount Vernon, Emmetsburg and West Hancock. In 3A, Harlan is top rated, Grinnell is second, Clear Lake, Creston and Western Dubuque complete the top five. West Des Moines Dowling is top rated in 4A, Iowa City High is second followed by Bettendorf, Newton and West Des Moines valley.
