Small business owners can improve their e-business skills at a conference underway in Ames. Randy Proszko is helping organize the gathering which features some four-dozen speakers and batches of workshops.Proszko says the Midwest E-Business Conference contains something of value for virtually any small businessperson in Iowa — from one who doesn’t know how to use e-mail to those who are already advanced Internet experts.Proszko says the economy may be lagging and “dot-com” companies have failed by the hundreds, but e-business is a growing, thriving wave which Iowa merchants need to learn to proficiently ride to continue to grow.Today is the second day of the three-day conference at the Scheman Building at Iowa State University.
