Drake heads West for PFL opener

Drake opens the Pioneer Football League race Saturday night at the University of San Diego. The Bulldogs are 2-1 and coach Rob Ash says they are looking forward to the start of conference play. He says there’s been a huge change in practice as the players aim for this ballgame.San Diego is 2-0 and Ash says the Bulldogs will be tested.Drake has lost just once since the series began and Ash says they have been able to counter San Diego’s speed with a physical style.
