Grinnell and South Tama play for trophy

It is not just college rivalries that feature a traveling trophy, but several at the high school ranks as well. One of those series will be renewed tomorrow night in Tama as class 3A second ranked Grinnell visits South Tama in the battle for the helmets. Grinnell coach Jim Dunne says this is always a big game since they’re not very far away.Dunne says he has been impressed with South Tama as they have five returning offensive linemen.South Tama coach Jim Plantz says the game is always big no matter where it’s played. Plantz says his team knows what’s ahead, as he says Grinnell is one of the top 3A teams in America.
