The court appearance scheduled for today has been cancelled for the man Secret Service agents arrested Friday in Cedar Rapids. The U-S Attorney’s office is not commenting on the cancellation of the hearing for 30-year-old Youseff Hmimssa. Federal officials want him returned to Detroit where two of his former roommates face similar charges of fraud and misuse of visas. Hmimssa lived in Cedar Rapids three months and on September 11th allegedly changed the nameplate on his apartment mailbox. The Iowa D-O-T says Hmimssa has at least two Iowa driver’s licenses which were obtained through aliases.
