A death is reported at an eastern Iowa bed-and-breakfast that has made its name in doing murder mystery getaways. 60-year-old James Jewell, of Independence, fell off the porch outside the “Mont Rest” Bed and Breakfast in Bellevue and hit his head on the front steps. He died Sunday of head injuries.
