Missing Fairfield man found

October 2, 2001 By admin

The mystery of a missing Fairfield man has come to an end. Fairfield police were investigating the disappearance of 24-year-old Brian Bartlett, who went by Brian Andrews on the air as news director of KMCD/Kick 96 in Fairfield. Bartlett contacted relatives Monday to tell them he was okay and he’d left town on his own. His debit card had been used in several southern states. His name will now be removed from the “missing persons” file at the Fairfield Police Department. Bartlett’s father says he talked to his son by phone and that he’s safe and on his way home to Winona, Minnesota. He was last seen September 20th.
