The head of the Crestland Cooperative says there have been several proposals from companies interested in leasing their grain operations. The co-op filed for bankruptcy last week. C-E-O Paul Eckhoff says they will go before a judge in Des Moines tomorrow afternoon to review their options and hopefully come up with the best one.Eckhoff says once a decision is made, the co-op will be back in the business of purchasing grain. He says the company that’s chosen will hold the grain license and purchase the grain. The Crestland Co-op has 18 elevators.
