Voters in eastern Iowa’s Jones County have okayed a one-percent local sales and service tax that’ll benefit schools.About 54-percent of voters okayed the tax hike on Tuesday, which will be in effect for ten years. It will aid the Anamosa, Midland/Wyoming, Monticello, Olin, Mount Vernon and Western Dubuque schools.
