Voters in Black Hawk County approve bond issues

Voters in Black Hawk County went to the polls Tuesday on a trio of bond issues.Cedar Falls voters approved a 3-point-25 million dollar bond issue to pay for a new city library. Waterloo voters rejected a series of proposals to set up a city-owned fiber optics telecommunications system. In La Porte City, voters rejected a 1-point-5 million dollar referendum to build a new city swimming pool.
