Drake looks foward to playing new team from Florida

It will be a memorable day in Drake Stadium on Saturday when the Bulldogs host Florida Atlantic. Under legendary coach Howard Schnellenberger, Florida Atlantic is in its first season of football competition and will join the division-one ranks in seven years. Drake coach Rob Ash says playing a program like this is a great opportunity, having the game at home is even better. He says usually you have to play those type of games on the road.Ash says they look like a scholarship program. He says they’re big, strong fast, and very skilled.Ash says Florida Atlantic is a young team and they hope to take advantage of their inexperience.
