Drake faces key three-game stretch

October 11, 2001 By admin

The Drake Bulldogs are on the road in Pioneer Football League action to play Valparaiso on Saturday. Drake opened the P-F-L race with a loss at San Diego but bounced back with a suprisingly lopsided win over Florida Atlantic.
Drake coach Rob Ash says the next three games will determine the Bulldog’s post season fate. He says the nice thing is they control their own destiny in the conference.
Coaches always say special teams play can make the difference in a game. Ash says the series with Valpo is a perfect example.
