Bedford school closed after fire

Students in the Bedford school district are enjoying two unplanned vacation days after a fire Wednesday afternoon. Bedford Superintendent Joe Drake says there wasn’t a lot of damage.It was a small fire, but created a lot of smoke and they closed the school today and tomorrow to clean up the building. Drake isn’t sure what sparked the fire.He says some towels were burning in a clothes basket, but they don’t know what caused them to burn. Drake says there wasn’t any structural damage to the building.
