Cornell and Coe renew old rivalry

The oldest continuous rivalry west of the Mississippi River will be renewed on Saturday as Cornell visits Coe. Plenty is at stake for both teams. At 5-1, Cornell is tied with Central for the Iowa Conference lead, while Coe is one of two teams a game back. Cornell coach Steve Miller, says the Rams may be playing Coe at the wrong time, as he says they’re playing better than anyone in the league.Miller says combining the Coe game with the title race has made for a spirited week in practice.
