Davenport policeman on leave over Internet overture

A Davenport Police Officer is on administrative leave and is the subject of an internal investigation after he allegedly asked a 15 year-old girl for sex over the Internet.25 year-old Ted Jacobsen is a three-year veteran of the department. Jacobsen will not face criminal charges. Scott County Attorney Bill Davis says Jacobsen may have used poor judgement, but he did not break any laws.
