The next mayor of Davenport says he won Tuesday’s election, in part, because of a moose.58-year-old Charlie Brooke easily beat former school board president Denise Hollonbeck. At his victory party last night, Brooke gave his wife all the credit for coming up with his winning trademark logo.Brooke is an attorney and says teamwork and the moose logo he used on signs and other advertising helped change his image from that of a mean lawyer to a likeable guy.
