UNI opens season against Montana

The Northern Iowa Panthers open their home season tonight against Montana. U-N-I is 1-1 after splitting a pair of games at the Texas Tech tournament this past weekend. He says they’ve added some good talent to the team for a year ago. McDermott says his team has played with tremendous heart thus far and given an outstanding effort.Panther coach Greg McDermott says the players have bought in to what he’s trying to do.
