Davenport bank robber to stay behind bars

November 22, 2001 By admin

A convicted bank robber in eastern Iowa will be staying behind bars. 29-year-old Arthur DeCole Rogers pleaded guilty in August to robbing three banks, one in Rock Island, Illinois, and two in Davenport. A federal judge Wednesday ordered Rogers’ sentence to run consecutively to a 20-year state prison term handed down in Scott County for a 100 month sentence in federal prison. He was also ordered to pay more than 17-thousand dollars in restitution.
