November 26, 2001 By admin

While the U-N-I football team won’t host an NCAA tourney game, the women’s volleyball team will. For the first time in six years, U-N-I will host an NCAA tournament in the West Gym. The Panthers are seeded 16th and will face Northern Illinois in the first round. The match is tentatively set for 5:30 Friday, with the winner advancing to play the winner of the DePaul/Minnesota match in the second round at U-N-I on Saturday.
