Shooting under investigation as a homicide in Des Moines

Des Moines police are investigating the shooting death of a 34-year-old Hispanic man killed early Monday morning. Des Moines police Lieutenant Kelly Willis is telling neighbors not to be overly concerned. Willis says it does not appear to be a random homicide.Juan Mandejano was found dead inside the door of a house on Des Moines’ east side shortly after six Monday morning.
