Hawkeye fans have choices for Alamo Bowl

The University of Iowa Alumni Association is offering Hawkeye fans travel packages to the December 29th Alamo Bowl in San Antonio. Spokesman Chris Bavolack says the association offer a couple of different options.Bavolack says even if fans don’t want a travel package they are encouraged to purchase their tickets through the athletic department.Before last weekend, Iowa’s likely spot for a bowl game was San Jose, California for the Silicon Valley Classic. Bavolack feels the Alamo Bowl will prove more attractive to Iowa fans. He says the Iowa fans seemed to enjoy going last time
