Luther looks to narrow choices for football coach

December 6, 2001 By admin

Luther College hopes to have a new football coach in place before the end of the year. Athletic Director Joe Thompson says the school has received around 70-applicants for the position. He says they’re trying to narrow that group down to three or four finalists. Thompson says the goal is to have someone hired by Christmas. Luther needs a replacement for Brad Pole who resigned after six years at the helm.
