Bike ride raises funds for Camp Courageous

A cross-country bicycle trip will benefit an eastern Iowa camp for disabled people of all ages.Two counselors at Camp Courageous of Iowa near Monticello plan to travel 26-hundred miles across the U-S to raise money for the camp. Giles Clemment and Elizabeth Larson will leave Los Angeles on December 16th with the journey to end in Jacksonville, Florida, on February 1st. Clemment plans to bike 75-miles a day while Larson will be driving a support vehicle. Clemment hopes to raise at least one-cent per mile with a five thousand dollar goal.
