Monticello police investigate action against superintendent

Monticello Police are investigating a series of incidents aimed at Rita Perea, the superintendent of the Monticello Schools. Someone put cow manure in a cardboard box on superintendent Rita Perea’s porch and set it one fire. Someone also put a grocery sack in her driveway that contained a dead kitten and a dead squirrel, and in another incident, a dead pheasant was placed on the windshield of her mini-van.
