UNI coach believes his team will make it to the top

Northern Iowa football coach Mark Farley is convinced the Panthers can win a national championship. U-N-I ended the season with a 38-0 loss at top-ranked Montana, the fifth time the Panthers have reached the national semifinals only to fall short. Farley says despite the loss it was a great way for him to start his run as head coach. Farley says he is more confident than ever that the program can reach the pinnacle. He says there’s no doubt in his mind with their home environment of the UNI-Dome that they can create the atmosphere to win the title.Farley says the program must reach the point where it can go into an environment like Montana and win.Farley says the final steps can be the most difficult but says this season was a good start.Northern Iowa football coach Mark Farley is convinced the Panthers can win a national championship.
