Drake Strives for Consistency

December 25, 2001 By admin

Drake basketball coach Kurt Kanaskie is looking for more consistency as the Bulldogs wind down their non-conference schedule. Drake is 5-4 and lost to Northern Illinois by 22 points at home Saturday, a week after downing Iowa State. On the bright side, Drake has made more free throws than their opponents have attempted and Kanaskie says that has been a focus of attention. Kanaskie says the holiday break is the time they would like to hit their stride. Drake returns to action on Thursday night at Florida Atlantic.
