One Robbery Suspect Jailed, One at Large

December 26, 2001 By admin

A robbery suspect is in custody in southeast Iowa, and another suspect may still be on the loose. Oskaloosa police arrested 34-year-old Ricardo Salazar on armed robbery charges in connection with the December 21st holdup of a Jiffy Mart convenience store. The suspect from another robbery on December 20th at the Dollar General Store is not believed to be the same man. Similar holdups are reported at Dollar General Stores in Chariton, Ottumwa and Pleasantville in the past week.
