The Fort Dodge senior high school marching band will perform in Phoenix, Arizona, this weekend. The band’s been invited to march in the Fiesta Bowl parade. Director Curt Klein says the band’s been getting plenty of practice for the three-mile parade route, in the recent warm weather. Klein began teaching in 1979 and has been band director in Fort Dodge for seven years. Though the parade’s Saturday, it won’t be televised until New Year’s Day.
