Iowa Man’s Target of Best Brother-in-Law Prank Yet

December 27, 2001 By admin

There’s a brand-new yard ornament on Les Hammond’s property. The Sioux City man now has a six-foot, 2,000-pound orange orangutan in his front yard. Hammond says he’s been jousting with his brother-in-law for years to see who can give the other the worst prank gift. For now, the Mitchell, South Dakota man is ahead, and Hammond says he’s going to have to figure out how to move the concrete moneky into the back yard to appease his wife, whose brother is the prankster. The movers took a photo of the statue to enter their own “wierdest delivery ever” contest, says Hammond, and he’d take any suggestions for how to retaliate against the creative brother-in-law.
