Roof Problems Swamp UNI-Dome game

December 27, 2001 By admin

A bizzare incident in the UNI-Dome over the weekend suspended the Panther men’s game with Central Michigan. Condensation from the roof of the dome started leaking onto the playing floor in the second half and officials halted the game with a little more than eight minutes remaining and Central Michigan leading 57-53. U-N-I coach Greg McDermott says the two coaches will visit later to decide what to do. UNI officials have battled problems with the roof for several years now.
