Vandals break the ice at Olin rink

January 2, 2002 By admin

An ice skating rink in Olin will not open as scheduled because of vandals. Vandals drove a couple of vehicles on the ice last Saturday night or Sunday morning. A plastic liner was damaged and the ice broke. Damage is estimated at 350 bucks. The rink was supposed to open Sunday, but the opening’s now indefinitely delayed while volunteers try to repair the damage.
