Iowa Coach Steve Alford confirmed last night sophomore Courtney Scott has left the basketball team. Recker said Scott had decided to redshirt this season, and appeared happy with the situation. But, Alford says Scott did not return to Iowa City after Christmas break, and has not returned phone calls.Alford says he expects Scott to transfer to school closer to his home in Michigan.
