Drake women face key conference game against SMS

The Drake women look to maintain their lead in the Missouri Valley Conference as they host Southwest Missouri State tonight. Bulldog coach Lisa Stone says home games are especially important.While they’re off to a great start, Stone says there’s a long way to go.Stone says Southwest Missouri State will still be tough despite losing premiere player Jacki Stiles to graduation. She says they need to find a way to score some points, as they need to score in the 70s to win.Drake is 8-3 overall, S-M-S is 5-5.
