A former Ottumwa man is being held in the Wapello County Jail on charges he dragged a policeman last month. 36-year-old Kory Moegenburg faces a variety of charges, including assault on a peace officer after the incident in New London on December 15th. Moegenburg is charged with dragging the officer after he and another suspect were stopped outside a convenience store, after allegedly acting suspiciously. He was arrested Wednesday night in Wapello County after a brief chase.
