Deadlines are drawing near for the Iowa Winter games. Director Jim Hallihan has a reminder for teams, Jan 9 is team deadline for indoor soccer and youth basketball. And Roller Hockey’s moved from earlier next month back to Feb 16 and 17. Hallihan says while the rulebooks have the original timetable, coaches can heed the new schedule.Roller hockey is proving a popular sport for the Iowa Winter Games, says Hallihan, as the open division draws teams from around the state.
