January 7, 2002 By admin

A couple of thieves in Clayton County may get more than they bargained for after stealing two “all-terrain” vehicles. The Clayton County Sheriff says someone cut a log chain in front of Drahn’s Implement in rural Elkader and made off the with the 2002 model “a-t-v’s.” The Sheriff’s Department says there’s a safety recall notice on the stolen vehicles, as the front brakes on the four wheelers could lock up, and possibly cause an accident.
