Two Fort Dodge men have been arrested and charged with robbing a bank last month in the tiny town of Cylinder. The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s office is charging 21-year-old Michael Hart and 20-year-old Samuel Cornell with second-degree robbery, arson, and first-degree theft. Cornell was arrested after a search of his home, Hart was found in Mounds View, Minnesota, by local authorities and the FBI. Authorities say charges are pending against a third suspect, and others may also be charged with aiding and abetting them. Authorities think Cornell robbed the bank and got away in a car that was found on fire near the town of Rodman 20 minutes later. The investigation continues, and more arrests are expected.
