Loss drops Iowa in rankings

The Iowa Hawkeyes have fallen to 13th on the latest Associated Press top 25. The Hawkeyes are coming off Saturday’s loss at Ohio State, a game in which they trailed 20-2 at the outset. Iowa coach Steve Alford says his team needs to learn how to play well with lofty expectations. He says it’s part of getting the experience of having the bulls eye on their back. Alford says they have to get used to the fact that other teams will play their best in hopes of knocking off a highly ranked team.Iowa returns to action at home Wednesday against Northwestern.
