A woman who ran an unsuccessful campaign for mayor of Davenport last year is in legal trouble.Pamela Davis, who was eliminated in the primary, is charged with three counts of fraudulent practices. Scott County Attorney Bill Davis says an investigation centered on more than 30 absentee ballots. He says Pamela Davis requested the ballots in other people’s names last fall. The people whose names were used knew nothing about the ballots. Davis says the person who lives in the house where the ballots were delivered also knew nothing about them. Pamela Davis could get two years in prison on each count, if convicted. She appears in court January 17th.
