The Drake and Northern Iowa women look to stay at the top of the Missouri Valley Conference standings, tonight. The 5-1 Bulldogs are at home against Bradley. Drake won a pair of road games last week and coach Lisa Stone credits better rebounding. She says she’s pleased with the team overall.Stone says Bradley is an improved team from last season and they’ll have to be prepared to play hard.Bradley coach Paula Buscher says it will take a complete effort. She says they need to play some post defense and play at a high level.The Panthers take a 4-1 Valley mark to 5-1 Creighton. U-N-I coach Tony Dicecco says Creighton is a title threat in the Valley race. He says Creighton has really picked up their game and pose a lot of problems on defense.Dicecco says avoiding turnovers is a key as they pressure full court.Creighton coach Connie Yori says it is a big game for both teams. She says DiCecco always has his teams prepared to play.
