January 21, 2002 By admin

The Iowa Recycling Association’s leader questions test results released by the Iowa Grocery Industry Association which found bacteria in store areas where cans and bottles are recycled. Dewayne Johnson of the Iowa Recycling Association says “It’s not a food safety issue, period.” Johnson there’s bacteria in the meat department, deli and other areas of grocery stores, too, but not in amounts that make people sick.
