High-scoring Grinnell looks for tourney bid

The Grinnell College men’s basketball team is chasing a spot in the Midwest Conference post-season tournament and the Pioneers will be at home against Monmouth, tonight. Grinnell is 6-6 in conference play and a half game out of the fourth and final spot in the tournament. Coach Dave Arsenault believes if they can get into the tournament they have a good chance of winning it.Grinnell is averaging just over 126-points per game and Arsenault says they traditionally play their best at this time of year.
