Cyclone coach says his team is still "Giddy" despite losses

February 11, 2002 By admin

The Iowa State Cyclones will look to snap a losing streak with a couple of home games this week beginning with a Wednesday night matchup with Colorado. The Cyclones are 1-9 in the Big-12 but coach Larry Eustachy says despite a string a close and frustrating losses the Cyclones are staying positive. He says the team is “giddy” and “jumpidy,” but can’t win the close ballgames. Eustachy says a number of close losses have been the difference in the season. He says there are four or five games in which a last second shot would’ve turned things around.
