Oskaloosa man gets 40 years in attack on Realtor

An Oskaloosa man faces a long sentence behind bars after an attack on a realtor.A man accused of kidnapping and raping a real estate agent will serve 40 years in prison. 38-year-old Anthony Schmidt was accused of giving a female realtor a false name and arranged for her to show him a home near New Sharon last year. The woman claims Schmidt beat her, raped her and threatened to kill members of her family.
