Hoover Library celebrates Lincoln’s birthday

In honor of Abraham Lincoln’s birthday, the Hoover Presidential Library Association is hosting several one-actor plays, the first of which is tomorrow. Association executive director Pat Forsythe says the first play is called “Abraham Lincoln: A President for All Times” and features one of the best ever Lincoln impersonators, Richard Klein.Forsythe says Klein is an actor and historian who has studied Lincoln for decades and will arrive at the Library in West Branch “in character.”That play is scheduled for 3 P-M tomorrow. Next Sunday, February 24th, two more plays are planned, the first of which is called “Dinner at the White House: A Feast of History.” Forsythe says it will be performed by Judith Bernstein, an historian and actress from Boston.Another show on the 24th by Bernstein will be a tribute to America’s First Ladies.
