The Drake women beat U-N-I in Cedar Falls Sunday 70-to-58. Drake led from start to finish, building a 15-point first-half lead, while U-N-I cut the lead to within three points in the second half. Drake coach Lisa Stone says they fought hard and was a different team than the last time they played and lost to the Panthers.U-N-I coach Tony DiCecco says the Bulldogs earned the win by playing emotionally. He says they had more emotion at the start of the game and that was big for them. It’s Drake’s sixth win in a row.
